Ever since the Govt. Medical College at Kozhikode, the second medical college that was established in kerala in the year 1957, the Department of Biochemistry has held a pivotal role in the health care scenario of Calicut since then. Major facets of the department are academic, research and diagnostics.

Courses Offered

MD Biochemisty

3 students are admitted every year. The duration of the course is 3 years. The academic activities include regular classes, laboratory training, seminars, journal clubs, attendance at CMEs, participation in National health programmes , Community health , thesis work & research activities.
